HELLO

This is PART 3

Guys believe it or not this strategy works!

I picked it off playing someone of a rating of 1650.
HE REALLY CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD.


This is how it works:

- At the beginning of the game a lot of people say (which is very true) that whatever you train for the opening is crucial for the game. So at the beginning train 3 miners with the 500 gold you have. The opponent might pressure you with an archer and Swordwrath. Immediately get a castle archer. He'll fall back. Keep on getting miners. When you've got 8 make 1 pray. Then get 2 more miners and make one more pray. Now you have 10 miners. Get one Spearton and then one more miner. Now you have 11 miners. Get miner hustle as soon as possible. Now you are ready to roll. Get one archer and another Spearton. Do the same until you have like 6 or 5 speartons and 7 or so archers. Take them to the middle. ATTACK. You'll be surprised how easy it was to get all those Spearton's in a short time. While attacking your Speartons health will run low obviously because your opponent has some units. Get all your troops back inside the castle. Train a few more Speartons and archers. Get a Meric. Place all your units in front of the castle. You'll have like 9 or so speartons and the same for archers or more. Place all your Speartons in front of your archers. Select all your units and right click on the opponents statue. AND THERE YOU HAVE IT . VICTORY. YOUR ARMY WILL DESTROY THE ENEMY'S STATUE.

-Remember that you have to attack quickly. Don't attack late coz your opponent by then will have some huge ass army and you'll be defeated quite easily as your army will be smaller as you already have 11 miners.

-THE WHOLE OBJECTIVE OF THIS STRATEGY IS TO USE YOUR ECONOMY TO YOUR ADVANTAGE BY RAISING AN ARMY BIG ENOUGH IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME TO TAKE DOWN YOUR OPPONENT

A bit different, but still kinda of a spearton rush at it's base.

Sorry about the two previous posters but I'd like to actually help ya out with a few things.
A good opponent who sees you go into castle archer miner rush is very likely to have an army at some point and a bigger one at that.
At 8 miners ill already have a few swords and archers at base as I also tech into a spear.
Letting my spear tank your Ca an rushing in with my other units to deal damage to your Eco or at least stall it even more.

What I may suggest is learning how to turtle if you really want to implement this type of a build.

Anyways, your strategy is similar to mine which I made a year ago for the exception of you going straight for the statue and not fighting his army. Might wanna check it out, the turtling section is solid for the most part.

first of all how long does it take to train 10 miners? 8 seconds for 1 miner. so it takes just more than a minute. so i have my 10 miners and a castle archer in about 2 minutes. your saying in that time somebody will come with a few troops. that would be at about 3:30 in to the game. by that time ill have alot of gold to train 2 speartons and 2 archers and even more


i know how to turtle. using that i would drag his few units to my statue by going towards him then falling back to my statue and then attack coz now ill also have help of castle archer.

I like that you seem to have a lot of passion. Personally, I'd like to see you applying to TZ. :) We can always help you with new strategies or modifying old ones.

Units in different tiers que simultaneously.
I'll have a few units.
2.3k order.
If you fall back on statue I'm keeping you off of your gold. 2 spears 2 archers is a very small army. With a low dps at that.

i would like to see some replays, multiple people possibly different empires. I almost never recommend doing this because you forfeit tower control, which brings more gold then a miner, so 1 sword 2 miners vs this strat means he has more army, map control and income. Another thing to note is that you cannot have more then 8 miners mining early on, because I will surly have archers and pick off your second row miners. This strategy only really works in lower rating and against people who can't pressure enough.

Counter:

1.Do the exact same thing as the other guy.
2.When he attacks, use spearton shield wall
3.Poison Spray and Electric wall on the attacking speartons
4.Wait for your archidons to destroy the attacking speartons
5.Cleanup by attacking right after healing with merics

I'm guessing this is just a standard turtle this falls to any ammount of pressure and if you see your. Enemy massing miners you do the same plus tower advantage which Is worth about 1.5miners and the battle is in your favour.

I'm no Order expert but your better off going for early game pressure (maybe 2 swords 1 miner at lower levels) and growing and improving. Fighting for tower is one of the most fun things in the game.

Except all archer starts handily dispatch this, and I'd rather use AMMMS to deal with MMS.

I'm just giveing him something easy to use too be argressive with. He'd have to learn kiteing forward backwards to use a archer start well and he doesn't sound that good.

Of course at the higher grades AM is probably the best start and it's the start I use. Thou I have seen mms them buying a archer. Archers are key to any order game. In just giveing him something simple that doesn't take skill to use he can go out their fight for tower and devlop from their we don't want to

Except then you teach MMS instead of MSS, which puts you at a disadvantage to macro from.

MMS -> MMMMMMMM vs another MMS
MMS -> MAMM vs AM/MSS
MMS -> MCA vs SA

much cleaner macro than MSS.

also 2014 thread is 2014.
