Maybe use some blur to show distance and add some depth to your BGs because right now everything looks pretty flat. Also, the scene with the bird flying off was pretty bad looking, you should probably watch videos of birds flying off or do some studies or something, because the way it takes off looked really stiff and mechanical
Another thing is, you never want things to not be moving in an animation. Try your best to not make anything ever completely still. That doesn't mean you have to animate absolutely everything, but even putting a slight tween on the v-cam in a still scene or tweening one part of a BG one way ever so slightly and another part the other way can make a real difference

Ah. Thanks a lot. That helped a whole bunch. In the scenes the fog is actually moving, but too subtle to really notice, but that v-cam idea is great and hopefully that'll help liven things up.
It actually never occurred to me to use a reference. I feel silly after trying so hard to make that bird fly.

Thanks a mil. You're my new favorite person.

If your intro is meant to convey that Escarioth is all about peaceful environments then yeah you're doing a great job so far, but the animating itself is quite choppy. The animation of the bird flying away is the most choppy and sticks out like a sore thumb. Why not check out some NG Wild vids and observe birds flying in slow motion or something. Once you've memorized the jist of how birds move their wings you should be able to animate that bird more realistically.

EDIT: Just saw what Drone said...

So..... Yeah.....
Basically what Drone said.
