No prob, dude. And Stereo means the left and right speakers can be different, so unchecking that mono option actually does let you do left to right sound effects. Keeping it checked is the thing that keeps you from doing that. So you're good.

It's funny how the rules say its gotta be a stick figure version and yet a lot of people are adding fullbody stuff. Looking good though.

The rules say it has to be primarily stick figure, not that it has to be exclusively stick figure. It's that technicality that prevented me from entering.
