but the arm not holding the handle doesn't move back. i assume that arm is holding the gun?

You show promise. How long have you been using pivot? Try to add more frames to the movement itself to make it smoother rather than jerk so much, also the movement itself is rather off. He should pull it up higher and into his shoukder, and there should be a lot more recoil.

A little jerky, but It looks like you have some Pivot experience. Arch basically sed it all, so just keep practicing and eating tacos and you'll improve c:
