Ok maybe there's some exceptions. Like if the guy is bald, then no hair. If you're bad at drawing hair, then it's also not acceptable. Other than that, hair is fine. And yes, short hair counts as hair and can be animated as long as it isn't made long. Proof of this is metal stick rising by rebellion. Short hair and still good. But anyway, back to the original subject. Good luck on this barthimo!

barthimo is pretty good with hair physics

Barthimo always animated hair since birth so I don't think its a problem to him as he said ^
