I don't know if this is something that belongs here or w/e but hell, it's about time we've had a thread for this.

Post some good resources, references, stores, videos, tips for general use.

A giant, huge pack of Art related books. A good 17 gigs worth of books, references, brushes, screentones and more. A really nice find and extremely helpful. This also contains some NSFW material, mostly artistic and mundane but hey, DL at your own risk. Also some books may be in japanese/moonspeak, good luck with that. Atleast 500 books. Holy FUCK.

Helpful reference site of movable 3d models, helpful for anatomy reference and general use.

This is relevant to Scarecrow's Public Service Announcement.

Something I've been seeing way too much is beginners posting their art here without learning any basics at all before hand, or not even knowing what falls under the category of "good" art. Now I understand that at some point we were all beginners who didn't know just as much as today's beginners don't, but I'm getting really sick of clicking on someone's art only to give them the same exact cnc as a previous person's art, because they both have no idea what they're doing and need to be guided towards the basics.

So I made this thread. Within this thread you will find multiple resources that teach you the basics of art. Learn these basics and master them before you attempt to make finished pieces.

I could merge it with Mizu's resource thread, if you wish. They're basically about the same thing anyways so it'd be much better to keep them together in one

Is that okay~?

This helped me get pretty decent at drawing when I was younger. A good place to start.
