Hey my flash mx 2004 v.7 refuses to start
I've downloaded some updates via windows update
and installed them. Since then flash has stopped working
It gets stuck while loading in the splash screen..or flash screen
I don't know what....

um ok maybe its the programs u installedtry uninstalling them and then try flash. u should run a virus check or somthing to make sure ur computer isnt infected. if this doent work idk wat to do..........

Get Flash 8.

80 GB HDD
512 Mb. RAM
by the way my good ol' monitor has gone mad
I mean it has gone bad...
so no work till its repaired or perhaps a new one arrives...
still I'll be thankfull if you can provide me the sollution

Run Spybot, because I'm almost sure you have some kind of virus.
If it doesn't work just get a new computer. By the way check if you have enough Hardrive space.

use Ctrl Alt Delete to open Task Manager, then look at the Processes tab. Are there any processes that are over 10,000k?

You probably have windows XP and probably downloaded new java version wich has a bug in it for XP, wich might ruin your flash
