Hi, and welcome to SP Mafi---oh wait. No this is NOT SP Mafia. This is, as mentioned above, an on-a-whim event where 9 players will attempt to win for their faction using our tried and true free-for-all lynching system. In some respects this game is like Mafia, with just a few tweaks. For one, there are NO Nights. Since this whole event is happening in real time, there are only "Days" and Day Lynches. But that doesn't mean there aren't any sneaky kills. We'll get to that later. First: the Basics.
How do I Win
Sunday Night Kombat is still a voting game but with No Nights, it's a talkathon of pure deception. The game is simple: The first person to eliminate 2 of the 3 leaders wins it for their faction! Here are the factions:
a) The Mighty Crew is composed of Captain Cook and 3 of his top men. They win if they can take out Ashlander and Nish.
b) The Bash Landers is composed of the studly Ashlander and 3 of his bitches. They win if Captain Cook and Nish go home eating through a straw.
c) Nish is so badass he's willing to go through this all by himself. He's cerebral, vicious, and cunning. He wins if Cook and Ashlander go down.
Sounds really easy right? Well, there's just one problem. GM Hewitt decided it would be a waste of time holding matches to find team members for Cook and Ashlander so he just gave them a bunch of random nameless jobbers to work with. As a result while the guards will know who they are protecting, the Cook and Ashlander player will have no idea who his guards are. In addition, because this is an Internet battle, nobody really knows what they each look like and so none of the wrestlers really recognize each other!
But Hewitt, the Picture thread exists and we have in fact seen their fac---
GM Hewitt doesn't care. It sells tickets and merch, so you can just suck it.
How to Play
Mafia players will be familiar at least with how it goes. Just think that there are no Nights so its Lynch Day every phase.
To none Mafia players, here's the simple breakdown:
- Each Hour (an ingame Mafia Day or about 1-5 IRL days), the players will try to lynch any one of their own. In order for the ring to reach a decision, the number of votes must be at least more than half the total wrestlers. Once votes have reached that amount, that player is incapacitated and the next Hour follows and the whole thing is done again until:
a) 2 of the 3 Leaders are incapacitated. Their respective faction thus wins the night.
b) Ashlander and Cook are the only 2 left standing. They resolve to work together and throw Nish out of the building, shaming him for life.
Remember that the fates of the jobbers do not matter. If any of the above conditions are true, the game ends.
- Now here's the part that's different. Captain Cook, Ashlander, and Nish each have a SPECIAL FINISHER stored in each of them. At any moment in the match, they may publicly post #FINISH
- One more thing, Cook and Ashlander only have ONE chance to auto-kill each other in public. But if the other is incapacitated and Nish is still around, they may do it discreetly by PM-ing the Kill instead. This assures balance and that at least one other faction will have to do the dirty work.
- So now the logic becomes clear. The 3 Leaders will have to figure out, based on their opponent's and the jobber's behavior and allegiances, who the opposing Leader is. Once they know, they can take them out ANYTIME.

Signups
1) To Signup properly, you need to post in this thread. Also, post the 18th word from Sunday by using it in a sentence. Just to be sure you've been reading this whole time.
2) As soon as everyone is confirmed, I'll be handing out the roles. Please refer to the Mechanics above on the specifics of the current setup and role recieving.
3) When all Roles have been confirmed, I will PM allies and other misc things. I will then signify Hour 1 to begin.
General Rules:
1) Play to your win condition. Do not betray your leader until after your leader is incapacitated, after which you can just help the one you 'respect' the most. Or fuck around.
2) Do not share PM Convos between you and me. I'll generally mention if something is share-able but the default is that you may not. The only exception to this rule are the reports generated by your night (and possibly day) actions. You can share those.
3) This is not an RP. As awesome as wrestling is, this is still a pseudo-Mafia game. There's no need to act like you're really into the role unless you have to. The flavor text is nothing more than to just getting the players in the mood. Also, flavor text in Player Deaths are also for the sake of fun. They by no means hint who killed them.
4) KO'd players can't talk, so kindly leave the thread and wait for it to end when you have been eliminated. You're allowed to post one or two things but please NO GAME-RELATED INFO.
5) Do not take anything here personally. It's a game of deceit and betrayal after all so keep the flames to yourself.
6) I thought it was already obvious but if you're not a player in this game, refrain from posting comments even if you were already long dead.
7) All players must show SOME activity by posting every 48 hours within their last post, even if it's something derpy I don't care. You need to talk in this game and it's not fair to those who are really trying (if you post like a derp, you have every right to be lynched anyway). You may NOT lurk. If someone has gone past the 48 hour mark I will prod them ONCE. If they don't respond or continue to lurk I reserve the right to replace or erase them.
8) Please do not Meta by checking Who's Online and the Activity Stream for anyone who's VM-ing and PM-ing people. That's just downright unfair if not stalker-y. Honesty system here guys. Don't do it.
