What's the most dangerous, most painful, or weirdest food you've ever tried?

I had a whole Thai pepper last night from the garden in my backyard. It was only about 1/2 inch long, but hoooooly shit was it hot. I was in extreme mouth pain for about 20 minutes. A poor decision overall.

Holy god, mine would be a pepper of some sort too. I don't know what kind it was, but it burned for forever. I could swear I scarred my mouth/throat.

Yeah, the chinese place over here puts whole Thai peppers in their orange chicken, and I accidentally ate one. It's definitely not fun

I don't know if it was a red female locust, I just found one on the tree in my friend's backyard and I remembered hearing somewhere that they tasted like chocolate. Which it didn't. Wasn't bad though

I had this piece of beef once in some noodles at some Chinese place, and it didn't taste right.

Yeah, I've had my share of weird tasting beef in random meals..I think it's just a portion of it and it's supposed to taste weird.
