Well here's the thing:

1) I dont think the main participants of this poll know Hewitt 2012-2013. They think I'm some kind of Fun Lord who rules the polls and talks shit.
2) Poll Section is under the Off-topic Subcategory. Basically the Hinterlands of Stickpage. Nobody cares about this place unless theres an event that requires an official poll (which hasnt happened in ages).
3) The mods these days are too lax. Sorry, had to say it. See that 5-letter word thread back in General Section? That shouldnt even be allowed as it is nothing but post-increasing and spammy. And yet it exists. And so, this thread exists. If I was still around to give a damn, I'dve chucked both threads the moment they appeared. At least I still give a damn to report it tho.

To say we're too lax is a bit cold. It's more along the lines that we're not instantly binning things we don't approve of. For example, these recent polls annoy me, but if I just binned them, I'd be the bad guy. I'd much rather let them run their course and fade into obscurity, since then there's no bias or blame, just time. Besides, if people stopped replying to them and voting, maybe Person McPerson wouldn't make any more, and these parodies would no longer have something to parody.

Lax != Lazy. Lax just means you're not too uptight about what goes to the bin and what doesn't.

Azure, point noted, but at least give us some form of consistency. The BBking vs Fads poll was binned, even though that one and this serves the same retarded purpose and adds just as much to community. Why was that poll binned if this one deserves to stay up? That one certainly did not run it's course and fade into obscurity, it was destroyed (rightfully so) because it was a piece of shit topic and so is this. I'm really sorry to keep picking on this and I'm not blaming any individual Mod for this, but our Mods would rather infract us for accidentally double-posting (harmless) rather than delete spammy and post-increasing threads (which can actually be toxic to a forum environment).
