To do so, I am invested in finding a fresh and professional view for our website. I am looking for a web designer/graphic artist to help me in completing this goal. This job will entail webpage design, graphic creation and placement, and social media account creation. No maintenance is necessary; if anything else is required after completion, we will contact you again with another payment plan.

Est. labor involved:

Website revamp: 12-24 hours
Graphics: 5-6 hours
Social media: 8-10 hours.

Experience in either subject is must-have, with a professional portfolio of past projects. A reference list of notable contacts would be greatly appreciated.

Of course I do. You may ask Gaaading, I believe I dropped him something over paypal for completion of his banner I used last year. I have also given proper credit to Galeforce, but he no longer prowls the SE section (or SP for that matter). If you would like to set up a payment method by works completed, I am all right with that.

In response to your question in the chat thread by exactly what I'm looking for, it's this: A website theme including graphic banner, background, forum sprites, and redesign to spiff the appearance of the navigation module and page components. The banner is not stick art, but a logo of our clan name using our colors red and black (a big change over from when I had first asked for blue and white last year, ha). This is not stick art. The background should compliment this using the same colors.

So for a portfolio, I'd like to see other banner or background type images, things used in either signatures or professionally if possible. Examples of ability in these expertise.

Any other questions feel free to ask, I'm willing to go as in depth as possible on this project so long as I have someone both qualified and motivated to do this.

EDIT: If there are many who step forward with expertise in one area (say the web design) but not the other (like graphics), I can split this job per person. If there's a duo who can work together on this I'm all ears. Payment is negotiable.

So, from my understanding, as long as we can provide at least some part of the service, we can earn payment? Also, what if we've no portfolio? Would you accept entries (to be adjusted as needed) as long as they're of decent quality, and deliver payment equivalent to the work put into it? For example, say I design the banner and some sprites, without providing portfolio, and you ask for some adjustments, upon the completion of which payment will be delivered. Would this be the scenario, and how much would be expected as payment? A guesstimate is fine by me.

It appears more of you guys are interested in the graphic and art part of this, which does do a lot of help for us. I'll talk about this with my website partners before taking any offers up. Thanks for showing interest.

I'd guess the reason is through it being easier to advance art skills than it is to advance web design and management skills, if only due to the convenient abundance of materials allowing art, and the freeform nature of it.

I'm pretty good at design if I do say so myself
I don't have a portfolio specific to web design and the like, but if you need some kind of sample work I'll make one
I also animate, so that's a thing if you'd like some kind of moving graphic, intro or fancy transition I could make that happen.
