btw, regarding first win of the day:
you have a first win for each garage slot. if you've got the patience, you can exploit this for maximum gains by getting your first win, stripping your bot, then building it again in a different garage slot and repeating

as a bonus, even if you are aiming to build the same thing every time, you end up trying new things and figuring out new tricks

So I've got a t7, t8 and 2 t10 bots now. Saving up for a good t9 now.

I'm convinced rail cannons are bugged sometimes. Some games I can keep shooting a guy in the cockpit directly with all my shots and they shrug it off, almost no damage. Another game against the same guy I can blow him up by tagging his cockpit once or twice.

I don't understand.

Like one game I shot a guy that was literally reduced to just a cockpit and a few armor cubes, direct hit to the pilot seat. The game registered a hit, but only one cube popped off. When it should have most definitely annihilated him, even if the armor had been mega armor, t10 rail cannons are just that powerful at maximum overclock. But just one cube popped off, even though his seat wasn't triforced or anything. It makes no sense.

My rail cannon damage feels super inconsistent.
Sometimes I hit their seat with everything and almost no damage, other games my rail shot comes within the same zipcode as their seat and BOOM they instantly blow to smithereens.

What cannons do you use for sniper bots? Anyone have a suggestion?

Also, I've unlocked the Yellow armor blocks for T7 for some reason. I think some of the blocks got shifted around in tiers? I can't remember.

yeah for a while you could unlock chassis blocks of the tier above. now they changed it that you can unlock weapon blocks of the tier above, instead. or something.

Ranked score was 540k in tier 10.
Get into another ranked game.
Single handedly the most one sided shit stomp I have ever seen in this game.
Can't even spawn without getting ripped to shreds.
They win in 6 minutes.
Now my ranked score is 48k.

I don't play ranked matches as often as I want but whenever I do it doesn't end well. Those that are waiting for Ranked are those with super beefed up machines just bordering the end of the tier.

So I took Rosefall's 'from youtube' design of his T9 Black Widow bomber and upgraded it to T10.

I replaced all the aerofoils, rudders, armor, plasma launchers and some of the thrusters with all T10 versions. So it was no minor upgrade, but a complete overhaul.
At 545 cubes total, it's by far the bulkiest bot I own. When most planes get ripped out of the sky by smg fire, this thing can usually not only get away, but trade hits as well. Long story short, it looks good, it's fun to play and it kicks a million different kinds of ass.

You can have one like mine too, for about 7.5 to 8 million robo points.

It's a medic cruiser, the twelve wheels give it substantial stability and durability, while keeping my flop totals low so I can stack on mega armor. 7 nanotech disruptors aren't exactly optimal, but it's nice to have the extra gun when one gets ripped off. The thrusters in rear so that incline roads can't slow me down.

It's fast, tough and brings some impressive sustainability to the fight.

Of course this is version one, but it's worth nearly 8 million already.
