i tihnk they went away too fast and make the grey explosion one go upwards a bit otherwise it was all good =) i think

I love the shading you use, I hate the speed of the particles' degeneration.

MOre frames would work if you had the time to do so in an animation.

The smoke itself looked real good, but its too fast. Also, try havinig the particales expand out from there original position as they dissolve. Its sort of strange that smoke stays in one place.

The smoke dissolves to fast and to unrealistic. Most people do simple smoke as in making it bigger then fading it out, you made it as if something shot the smoke in the middle thus making it dissolve like that.

also the squares don't make it look nicer (The way you shaped the dissolving parts) try to make it look more roundish instead of squarish, also take your time with the frames. the dissolvion was about 3 frames I think.
