Where the fuck does it say anything about making a thread asking how to make a game?

And have you ever heard of Google? You could have easily answered you question with a simple Google search on your question. And don't give me any shit about you looking everywhere because you damn well know that you didn't. I found a whole page of stuff related your question just now by using Google.

Unless you are willing to actually learn actionscript, which takes intelligence, persistance, hard work, and staying up till 1:00 in the morning with nothing better to do, don't bother. The world doesn't need more people to cut and paste actionscript from tutorials and call it a game.

On the off chance that you have actually thought this through and didn't just think you could make an epic game on impulse, www.actionscript.org is a good place to start. I self taught myself actionscript using the very well written tutorials on that site, and I've been recommending it ever since.

And I'm definitely not being given free money/beer/hookers/happiness to advertise their site...

Dude, if you wanna start making a game with Flash, go read the Pirate's tutorial on a space shooter(USE THE ****IN SEARCH BUTTON). If you wanna advance from that, go to someone else's tutorial.
