Fucking hell. I'm doing a horrible job.
Well yalazer ran out on his own deciding to take 3 actions in one go. And there's not a lot you can do for people who are attacking, since to attack with daggers and swords they'll need to expose themselves.
As long as they hide behind you, the gnoll will have to go through you first.
Edit: AH THANK YOU!
You just helped me round out an idea for the next round.

View Profile In that case, all wounded should be behind me. I hope there are skills in this game such as provoke(Allow the mobs to focus on the caster) or healing spells.
The cookie is doing nothing but giving me unnamed mystery aura haha. Maybe we can enchant that shield at some point. We have cursed items, maybe blessed items are down the path?
Let's just hope it heals people(Unless HP regenerates as time passes).

View Profile #Gnoll attacks #Miketastic but is intercepted by #Zero
#Gnoll rolls 42, its axe bounces off of #Zeros shield
#Devour attacks #Gnoll
Rolls 65, #Gnoll is mortally wounded
#Gnoll retaliates and attacks #Devour
Rolls 5, pathetically missing
#Gnoll bleeds
#Gnoll is slain
The Gnoll collapses to the ground after one last ferocious roar.

View Profile Finally. Good job guys but unfortunately, we lost Yalazer.
So, what do we get?

View Profile This is a really awkward situation for me. I only prepared enough content for 10 rooms and wasn't expecting this many of you to survive, then again, I wasn't expecting any of you to survive necessarily. I suppose all of you remaining alive are winners. I have all this new content for the second round prepared, but you guys seem to be enjoying this even though I only intended it to be a test run. And obviously if we start round 2 you'll have to, you know, start over.
That is to say I only intended for this to go the distance of 10 rooms.
While round 2 could easily go 25+

Dang, quite a fun game. Good times, guys.
I'm up for another round, but may I pose a request? I've been wanting to run another game that I hinted at back in the Musical Chairs thread, and I've been hella excited to start it for a while. Could I take a turn to run a round of that game, and then round 2 of #Forumgame could start after?
I was just waiting for Hewitt's game to finish, but at the moment that seems slow enough that it wouldn't hurt to post up the thread.

I reaaaaaaaaaaaally don't want to wait a week to start round two, while people are still keen on this game.
But I see why both of the games co-existing could create problems...particularly if someone signed up for both games.

View Profile Who knows? Maybe it would be fun to play my game too. It wouldn't be a boring wait until the game ended and you could take a turn again :p
And this game has a pretty sweet concept. If we're keen on it now, we'll be up to play it later too I bet.

Yay. Could we just carry them over? Or just have bonus items, but perfectly fine with a clean slate.
I claim dibs being the blue guy.

Don't be that way, you maple sucking moose rider.
I know your game is fun, I won it.
It'd be a boring wait for ME if we chose to run your game.
But I could use more time to work on the magic armor list and constructing more tables to roll rooms on.
