Just finished reading a book from way back when. By the name of 1984.
I enjoyed it up until the ending, which disappointed me heavily. I won't spoil it, just in case someone that spots this thread decides to read it next. (though I doubt that'll happen, I'll stay on the safe side to be sure)
It's over 50 years old, and is still the lasting image of the negative utopia. Your thoughts?

Although there was a lot about it I still haven't figured out myself, it would suck if that is what our world would be heading to. Very depressing indeed.

I started reading it, it was pretty good. I shall look for it and finish reading it. I never seem to be able to finish a book.

1984 was perfect. I was dissapointed with the ending too but I realize that was the only way it could end. Really leaves an impression though. Best book I've read.
