Made partially because I want to broaden my taste for tea outside of just Earl Grey and peppermint tea, and partially because I'm going to grab some groceries today and want your expert opinions on what to bring back.

What's your favorite teas? And whyyyyy

Vanilla chai and green tea, mostly. I also have some chocolate peppermint tea I got around Christmas time that's really fucking good, don't know if you'd be able to find it now though.

Most of the teas I have are Bigelow brand, haven't tried one that I don't like yet.

I like me a bit of red bush, or the afternoon infusion from Graze.

Orange Pekoe is my go-to, but that feels pretty lame and vanilla to me for a topic about expanding your horizons. In my old town there was a store called David's Tea I used to visit with my friends and they had all sorts of ridiculous flavors, and all of them were quality. I wouldn't say they were all "good", but definitely quality. My favorites were the Strawberry Shortcake and Irish Breakfast teas. Weirdly accurate flavors. I shit you not they had a birthday cake tea that was spot on. The best thing to do if you're looking for new and unique teas is to find a local tea store, they should have a much wider selection than a grocery store. If you're looking for something unique and sweet I think the best teas for that are rooibos-based teas.

Bigelow had an eggnog flavored tea around the holidays that I really liked. Strawberry shortcake sounds pretty damn good, never visited a tea store before but I might have to now.

The only place I've ever seen a dedicated tea store was during my stay at Banff. I'll be having to hunt something down in a good old grocery store.

Those all sound simply fantastic though. The strawberry shortcake and that eggnog flavored tea tickle my fancy.

Damn I'm in the mood for some tea now. My favorite is cinnamon tea, not with the bag but the actual cinnamon sticks... I keep it real dawg.

Green tea and sometimes jasmine tea from your local asian supermarket.. I'm not sure why I like them, maybe they are the only ones I've ever tried. I tend to prefer them quite diluted though.

Sometimes. I drink them with milk.

You should, I always walk in and ask what they recommend and end up with something awesome.

Don't you live in Calgary? There are quite a few David's Tea locations there.

Calgary? I wish I lived in a big city like that. I'm way up north in buttfuck nowhere in Peace River. It's not so bad that I won't be able to find anything good, though.

Earl grey, or Chai.
I consider them both my favorite even though they're so different.

Though, I pretty much enjoy all tea.

You might be joking but Arizona tea is fire, man. Those tall cans with the honey/ginseng are a broke iced-tea lover's dream.
