What is Super Jutsu World?
So far it's only a couple levels I've hacked into Super Mario World with custom music. I intend to make more levels, but I'd like people to test these ones first.

What's the point?
Entertaining and challenging platforming, to test your skills with outside-of-the-box precision platforming.

I want to try it, how do I do it?
It's actually simple, just follow these steps.


What are the current levels?
Right now only two, one to the left of yoshi's house called "Ninji Obstacle Course" and one to the right called "Chocolate Mountain"

Ninji Obstacle course: Tests your ability to do precision jumping and timing, it gives you ample time and even a checkpoint along the way.

Chocolate mountain: Tests your control over your character under the pressure of a strict time limit across precarious slopes, no checkpoint, it must be done in one clean shot.


If you guys are interested give the levels a go and tell me what you think.

And for the record, I've tested these levels and I know for certain they're possible to complete.

Why were there three parts to step three instead of just having the actual number of steps

Because they're all really part of the same step. Since they're like a click or two apart.

I could give them their own number if you'd like, I don't see how it matters.

I'm somewhat disappointed that no one has tried it yet. I'll be making more levels today and probably updating the IPS at some point.

Rad, that should make for some great entertainment.

The only reason I haven't recorded my runs through it is because I don't want people to see how easily I can run through them and then copying me. Obviously since I had to test the levels I know my way around them pretty well. Though I intend to upgrade them as players see fit, to add to game flow or to make more aesthetically pleasing.

I finally got this working. I'll record my progress too.

But I fucking suck at this, so when I post a video it'll be there so everyone can laugh at me failing terribly

Somehow my microphone got turned on while I was recording, so it caught my laptop fan in there. Not only that, but the audio bitrate was set really low. The only part where this isn't the case is when I recorded that guy turning into a robot, which is after I realized what was happening. Alas.

If anyone wants to see what a decent run of chocolate mountain should look like.

hmmpp , i cant play your hacked level , its working fine with the normal one , but your level, well , its loaded , but the screen si remain black.

Try a different emulator, I use Zsnes.
