Hello all. I've been wanting to host this second art competition for quite some time. I stopped animating seriously a few years ago and slowly began to get into art more and more. I'll be offering three cash prizes out of my pocket to the first, second, and third place winners as a way to give back to you all for the inspiration you've given me. This competition will be on both StickPage and Hyun's Dojo. There will be no favoritism here, as I love you all <3

Now to the nitty gritty. If you don't remember how I did this last time, good. Rather than making polls and having it as a multiple round popularity contest, this go around will be just one round with one theme. Right now I'm thinking about giving everyone ten days after I announce the theme to finish it. The only requirement is that you stick to the theme and be creative. I'll be judging everyone's art based on creativity, and I'm not a stickler for the little things. Everyone has a fair chance here, so don't be discouraged by who you might be up against. Right now I'm thinking first place will get $75, second will get $50, and third will get $25. If you're a bit untrustworthy of some random guy offering you monies, just ask Drone in a few days when he finishes my commission <3

You can sign up by simply posting that you would like to participate. This sign up phase will last until March 24th. That's when I will announce the theme and the deadline. You can still sign up after March 24th and participate. Hell, you can even not post at all, send me your art via private message, and that will still count. Remember to have fun and encourage others. This is for you guys <3

And here's for phase 2: The theme to the competition is, Character Development. You must create an original character and tell me about them with your art, not your words. The commission Drone is doing for me is a terrific example, and I would show you all if you haven't seen it yet if it were finished. If you feel like you can convey your characters personality by just a picture of him alone, that's fine, but the sky is the limit with this one so feel free to add any sort of scenery in your drawing to hint at what they're like. The only requirement is that you be creative. Phase 2 will end on April 5th. Good luck, everyone!

Well, there is no Art Attack
although if you'd like I can just move it.
I don't think there's really a problem with where it is though, and this is where the last one was as well

I think it's okay that it's here. This place has existed prior to RHGs and the Merge and speedbattles. I'm pretty sure Arch is using this section in its primordial state

I mean I'm almost 100% positive this is where I hosted the last one. And no Hewitt that's not what I was talking about. What I was referring too was that I stopped trying to progress with animating. I got to what used to be referred to as "high interz" back on DD, switched to flash, and just sort of did whatever. It was before I tried RHG'ing against poppet.

No, it has to be 100% original. I don't think I really should've said that, but alright. It wouldn't really make sense once I release the theme anyhow.
