Post shit here that rustles your jimmies about vidya games and movies.

So this piece of fuck:

I refuse this thing has a magazine capacity of 60 rounds. 32? Perfect. 60? Like wtf dude why would you have 60 round magazines.

And also the MA5B doesn't have any iron sights, or more importantly, scopes for rails or any of that useful shit. sure, the ammo counter is fine, but what's the point if I can't aim the goddamn bitch.

In the lore, it is mentioned that the Marines have HUDs that indicated exactly where the rifle is pointing and can zoom in if they squint, but what if you're caught in a situation where you can't put on the helmet? What if, in a real combat zone where you shit gets all dirty and nasty you helmet fails?

Like this makes sense:
Image
Semiautomatic? Check
Top and Bottom Rails? Check

Like that makes sense. And it has a scope too so what's the fokken point of the Heads up Display.

While we're on Halo let's see this thing.

"Yo man, you know how most rocket launchers only use the rockets themselves as ammunition, reducing packaging size, weight and cost?"
"Yeah bro"
"How about we design a rocket launcher, that instead of reloading with rockets, you reload the tubes too."
"Oh damn that's solid. Maybe next time we can design a rocket launcher that when you reload it, you just use an entirely new rocket launcher."

Post other shit from science fiction that rustles your jimmies.

Watching the star wars movies, it fills me full of raaaage to see all the shots where the camera is in space outside the ship, and youcan hear the ship's engine and freaking every little noise out there. In space >:(

Oh yeah, that's ridiculous.

Like, space shit is so much more intense in space.

Also, it's fucking stupid how close those ships are to each other when they shoot at each other. Space, being a vaccum, there's no need to actually SEE the bad guy. Like in real air warfare, most of your shooting is from looking through a magnified thermal sight, since there's nothing blocking your vision. So in space, where you can see planets move the next solar system away, why couldn't you see a massive thermal blip? Wouldn't it make sense to shoot at each other super far away, since your lasers also travel at the speed of light, negating having to close the gap due to muzzle velocity?

In episode 2F09 when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

Well let's be honest, no one wants to see a silent space fight. It's like watching a movie with Mute on.

Hard Light.
I can understand light has a certain amount of mass. But I refuse to think that it would be solid enough to support a truck, a spartan, and two fully-armored marines.

You know the level I'm thinking bout if you remember CE.

EDIT : Apparently, the Didact's ship in Halo 4 was made almost entirely of the stuff as well. Think of that what you will.

I hate it when the bad guy has hold of the good guy and decides to just... throw him away. Don't you want max damage? I mean for fuck sakes at least do the Bane knee first before you toss him aside onto a wall of mattresses.

Mortal Kombat's X-ray attacks bother me a bit. I mean they look just as violent as fatalities, but after being hit by this fucking attacks they just get up and walk around as if nothing happened.
You see here? Here he should be dead.

But nope! Just gets up.

I don't know about that one. I think MK are aware that it is ridiculous but were just like, "Fuck it, it looks cool." Being aware of their self awareness allows me to accept it.

Yes, expecting Mortal Kombat to stick to anatomical realities would defeat the purpose. One well placed knee to the back of the head would finish things rather abruptly.

Movies that make it so 60 shots just graze the person. (Over exaggeration of course.)

I mean, why is it that everyone around the main character die with a single shot to the foot, and he gets shot in the chest countless times with only a small drawback. I understand that the main character IS the main character; but why does it have to be so extreme? It's like trying your hardest to make something epic, but try too hard just to make something laughable. I realize that road blocks are part of a good story, and there needs to be some conflict, but why does there have to be such an absurd amount. At least make it believable.

Also unnecessary gore.
