Oh my, a metathread.

The quality of the debate section constantly changes. Sometimes a great thread suddenly shows up and many intelligent people post, sometimes it's totally dry.

Am I the only one that feels that this thread serves no purpose?
There's a crapload of crap in the world to argue about.
World economy much? The US mortgage/housing crisis is starting to ripple around, you know.
Not to mention the credit crunch, and not-so-big oil.

a good way to see if the debate section is good or not is to see if theres a "2012" topic there.
