Thoughts? Theories? Who else is fucking excited?

Oh man, this looks so good. Extremely excited to see what happens. It sounds to me like it won't be too far into the future, maybe ten or twenty years at best. It's easy to assume that the main protagonist will be either Luke or his potential son/daughter. Other than that, I'm especially excited to see how this plays out in terms of visual effects.

Not quite. From what I understand this movie takes place around 30 or so years since Return of the Jedi. As of right now it's very up in the air who the main character is. It could easily be Poe Dameron or Rey (the girl). If anything she's at least a very close side character like Finn (the stormtrooper dude.)

The lines being said in the trailer are the same lines Luke said to Leia in Return of the Jedi (with the now added "You have it, too." suggesting he's speaking to the protagonist.)

I'm not a huge fan of Starwars, but the fact that the protag and antag from the Raid are in this just gets me hyped. Space silat. That's all I can ask for.

Better be better then last one.

I just hope there isn't any overemphasized love story.

My biggest fear about this movie is that it won't feel like Star Wars and feel more like a normal sci-fi movie.

I think this new Star Wars is gonna delve into the state of stormtroopers, and how most of them aren't clones anymore but actual people practically "drafted" in. As we see by Finn.

Maybe......i don't know XD....They are clones...but not all are clones...some of them are aliens...if you saw the movies with darth vader you could understand XD
