Remember! This tutorial is not the best out there neither is it perfect, its just the was i do my backgrounds!
Sketch it!
So lets get started. I usually start out my backgrounds with a sketch of what i want to do., remember it does
not have to be perfect! Its just a guide to help you understand what you want to do.

Sky!
Alright after you have your basic sketch done lets start on the sky (in a new symbol), I use a simple gradient
that goes from blue to light orange. colors are -> #CDF0FE to #FEFBEF

Clouds!
Clouds are simple to do in my style, u just start making some white blobby shapes with %25 alpha in a symbol,
after you drew some in a row in another layer you increase the alpha by 10 and do make another row ow blobs on top of the other!
continue this on the next layer as well and this is what you should have.

now blur them :P

Ground!
Now you cake you self some ground. I usually like to start out with line and make my ground like that, then I use the
pencil tool to draw out places I want to shade. Below is a pic of my line work and underneath that is what it looks like color.

Trees!
I really don't know how to explain trees, I basically use a darker green to shape out a base for the leaves
than i use a lighter green and make a different leafy shape on top of the darker one and use an even lighter shade for highlights.
For the trunk I use a mix of red and brown and use a lighter shade for highlights and a darker shade for shading.

Buildings!
Buildings I do are really simple! You basically just make different colored rectangles.
Remember the further the building the lighter the color!

Finishing / Lighting!
alright now take you buildings and trees, flip them over and tint em black, alpha then blur.
(keep the shadows in the top layer even above your animation). Add a black radial gradient from %45 alpha to %0 alpha!
add a flare and YOUR DONE!!
