Wouldn't the azure gun in itself be invisible? And the ray it fires causes people to suicide themselves after logically making them think of their own folly

I think you've missed the original design of the gun. It is a Stickpage gun that goes into different modes named after members, each of which fires a special ray.

Can't forget the SSS setting. It works as a target marker for the satellite to lock onto, dropping its payload towards it. And then after 30 seconds Wayne drops down from the skies and rko's them out of nowhere
