No see the mages were made to serve and kill, but vivi is a kid with a conscious who believes there's more to life than fighting. Ironically he killed black waltz.

We're not ghosts because science still doesn't know whether a 'spirit' can be seperated from a body or if what we percieve as a soul is simply a bundle of neurons giving us that illusion.

We're not on a rock, but on a self-contained bioenvironment with a molten core, oceans, rivers, weather patterns, flora and fauna and the ability to sustain all forms of life on it.

We're not shooting through space, but orbiting around a fixed track with easily predictable patterns on calculable trajectories.
