external hard drive is just a small hard drive that plugs into the usb port that enables you to put up to 1000 GBytes of whatever you want in it. Then you just unplug it from the usb port and can take it to another computer and dump it all on there if you want. It is like a larger flash port. (a little harddrive that hold 512 MB that does the same thing) Leanne learned something today ^_^... young grass hopper.
