I don't know why fluoride is so acclaimed and praised in the dental industry when I have heard that many research groups have stated it doesn't enhance your defense against tooth decay, and in fact, it does nothing...doesn't harm or improve, recently at an appointment I asked why they prefer fluoride and the hygienist said that it is believed that fluoride perfectly fills tiny holes in your teeth that cause inclination towards bacterial infection, or tooth decay...... or I just have rabies
