First off,I recommend you should use pivot first,to begin your animating adventure(meant to that you need to use pivot for see the move of the animations.),then, use esaytoon,to start to make effect animations, then when you mean everything on animating, just use flash.

First things first, it is all about personal preference and your goals as an animator. If you plan to take animation as a serious career, then Flash(Among others) is a must. Second, there is no such thing as a "Beginner"(Whatever the hell this means) program. Pivot, EasyToon, and Flash have different ways of animating(With Flash and ET being the most similar) but all of the 3 need the basic princples of animation to work. The program does not make the animation but rather, the concepts. Third, your tutorial is vague. Too vague. You just made a linear approach of what YOU would do. It is not general and it is not a fact that doing those would make you improve. No, practice and studying movements in real time makes you improve. Lastly, I know you're trying to help but please do think of what your thread is supposed to aim for and what it's supposed to be about. Animation is a vast subject to tackle on and this is by no means a way to give us reliable information to improve from "Beginner" to "Advanced".

Oh yeah, and drop the rankings.
