Well why didn't you just tell me then? All you had to say was "Hey dude, could you NOT do that? I'm trying to keep this as a numbers, light, fun game". And I wouldn't have done it. I don't know why you almost had to contemplate banning me from the next game for this when, like I've stated many times, even your own description of the game said players would be required to cheat and steal.

That was flavor. Geez.
And I didn't want to tell you because I was essentially having 2 halves of myself debate. The user me said this wasn't fair, the game master me was saying this is still fair. Then I found out that the losers who were each betting 1 CC were doing so in a defeatist way; even though I was asking users like Johny and Squidd to reconsider their late PMs, they still would not use up a single point and called themselves screwed whereas if they had, then maybe Nish would have lost.
You don't understand; telling you would have destroyed the spirit of the game's impartiality, but telling you would have destroyed the game's design. I don't know. I have no relevant metaphor. Just don't do it again. And I will specifically mention next time if something is 'light' or 'heavy'.
Exilement, I'm surprised you still want another Mafia game after your last victory. I doubt anyone's going to trust you so well again. It's at the very back of my mind right now but I do have some unused setups in mind. I'd rather do this next one first but I'll keep in mind.

I think most of the people worth playing mafia with will sign up for a new round since GD has been relatively inactive in the last few months. I also think that they'll recognize the fact that all I did in the last game was play to my win condition and the fact that I did so successfully twice in a row 0shouldn't make me an inherently untrustuworthy advesary in future games. I'm an asset to any team assuming there's a remote chance that I'm on their side. There's no inherent benefit to eliminating me early in a game regardless of the initial conditions.
if you can put together a fun mafia setup in which Nish and I are both participants it'll turn out to be amazing. just throwing it out there.

I'll think about it. I just don't wanna be stuck as "the Mafia Guy" for the rest of my hosting career. I like experimentation, I do lite things sometimes. I host senseless events too. I wanna branch out with other kinds of things we can do to pass the time and someitmes even I need a break from Mafia as well
But hey, I mean nothing is stopping anyone from hosting one themselves. Not since I first started. I know Zed ran one a few ways back.
