Okay so that my recent's schedule being really tight, I'll just post here asap. Not sure if I'll be contributing for the discussions (as I'll be more onto flimsy explanations for this one, my apologies), so we'll see about that.

Barry
Xigbar
Reason: Seriously (and unfortunately) we're talking about Barry from Flash TV series, and I feel like this version of Barry is weaker compared to the comic version that I know.

=====================

Erron
Stitch
Reason: Same as Chaotic Penguin's answer, he's practically invincible and agile so I'm not sure if Erron's bullet shots would work this time as Stitch can dodge it by crawling around imo.

Kalena
Ness
Reason: His PSI power gonna be possibly work more with this match ongoing. I agree with Veir for this one.

Sakuya
The Hulk
Reason: Yeah, based on people's discussions here, I think Sakuya won't be able to do much with Hulk Smash! once she got hit.

Ash's Pikachu
Bubbles
Reason: Being mini-superman has its own advantage, like practically invincible with anything, unless I'm missing things here.

Sorry I was a bit busy, time to address some of this:

Quote from Veir
Want some discussion? Discuss my thoughts.

The Equalizer
Rorschach

He's a professional. Rorschach is good at beating up guys with little to no training. Not to mention Robert McCall wouldn't even engage him in hand to hand. McCall is the kind of guy who prepares for everything and plays the mind game, which Rorschach has proved to be vulnerable to.

Yeah I agree with this one. The Equalizer has intel, friends, an intelligent mind and he subverts every kind of counter-intelligence situation. Rorschach is also something of a deconstruction anyway.

Quote from Veir
Barry
Xigbar

Xigbar can blink and can easily hit anyone, except the Flash. I read up on the wiki you provided and he still has super agility and reflexes. Not to mention the ability to receive and process information almost instantly. I don't see Xigbar landing a single shot on the hero.

Well I argued that Xigbar could potentially warp his bullets whichever way. However, his cocky nature might blind his ability to fight for serious. So as much as I love this shmup-wielding douche, I say the win for me also goes to Barry.

Abstain on the Touhou Character

Quote from Veir
Jackie
Redd

You're asking me if the harbinger of satan would be able to defeat a supe'd up version of an alice in wonderland character. But to be honest I think Alyss Heart would of stood a better chance. Jackie wins hands down.

I honestly expected Errorblender to come here and defend Redd. He was here lurking, I wonder why he'd not say anything. To me this battle still appears pretty even, but Jackie has more to lose (in that he's already lost everything) so this goes to him if it ever came down to intent.

Quote from Veir
Erron
Stitch

I honestly have no idea. Stitch is more powerful but Erron just fucks up everything that gets in his way without mercy. So abstain on this vote for now.

I'll help you; this still goes to Stitch. Never mind that Erron is a brutal man in himself, Stitch has super strength, nigh invulnerability, and two arms more---thats 2 more guns in a straight up firefight. Stitch is also small and quite lithe for his size; making close combat quite possible and Erron quite at a disadvantage unless he can handle the risk of hurting himself.

Quote from Veir
Kalena
Ness

He outranks her in every way. The only place she may have an advantage is experience but I don't think that would win Kalena this fight. Ness' psy powers just push him further than Kalena can achieve.

I'd also like to add that Kalena is a crusader; she'd see no reason to even beat down a kid and though the rules state that the fight has to happen, I'm pretty sure she'll have her doubts. Still. I'm actually on the fence with this one, but I guess the only reason Kalena can handle magic fights is because her magician is around as support sometimes. This goes to Ness no question.

Already argued against Sakuya here, see above.

Quote from Veir
Ash's Pikachu
Bubbles

She's faster, stronger, more durable, and is pretty much impossible to beat when you're an electric rodent. Ash's Pikachu is fast and is a pretty decent heavy hitter with his lightning, but none of that would even scratch Bubbles.

Alot of people seem to think that this is a hands down match and Bubbles takes the cake. But there's one thing ya'll didn't consider and that's it's BUBBLES, not Blossom or Buttercup. Bubbles is a friend to all animals. She likes cute things. So what's to say she can really do it to Ash's Pikachu, the cutest little mouse Pokemon this side of the arena? I think Bubbles would hold back, much less tear up to see this spry lil thing in pain, much less by her own hands. Pikachu can definitely use this to his advantage, and my rules did state that it is until incapacitation instead of death.

Pikachu is faster, stronger, wields lightning, and his tail is solid iron. Not to mention, Bubbles and the PPG for that matter are not known for their invulnerability. They can get pretty beaten up and bleed too; because their strength is divided into 3.

Am really curious about my last argument there. Can I change your opinions on that?

Bubbles has superhuman strength, speed, durability, and stamina. She can hit harder, move quicker, and fight longer than Pikachu can ever hope. She has laser vision and a super sonic scream that can shatter glass for miles that stuns enemies who hear it. Also she can fly. I don't see how you think pikachu is faster or stronger. Also Bubbles can break iron. Also Bubbles herself can use electric attacks (where electricity charges these abilities even more) however Pikachu wouldn't be affected by her electricity really.

On an agreement note Bubbles would have a problem fighting Pikachu over cuteness. But if he keeps hitting her he'll piss her off to the point where she'll beat him.

Also, you did say that both are in the mood to win and it's not like fights can be settled with alternate means, otherwise Sora would've won against Reisen in a spellcard duel.

I said both are in the mood to win, but personalities should also be considered. In Bubbles' case, she'd want to end it without killing the poor thing; which means she'd hold back.

When has the Hulk ever calmed down for anything but a plot device. You keep saying she'll never let herself get hit, but that's semantics. She will get hit eventually because if she couldn't then I'll have to disqualify her and her touhou buddy for being imba OP. Even GUTS gets hit once in awhile. The question now is how long can the 2 bear it and what can both do to cope.

You cant say no one doesnt get hit forever, thats not a legit excuse

But you won't disqualify hulk for being OP? He's going to be mad for fucking ever. And while he's mad, he's practically the single most strongest thing in existence.

I say put it this way; Hulk can't be mad forever, Sakuya can't get hit forever. That should even the odds.

I think you mean "Can't dodge forever"

But then who would expose themselves first?

Sakuya would get splatted if she does, Hulk would get Knifed if he does.

I didn't disqualify the Hulk because this thread was suppose to be about debating who would win. For example, I could very well easily say that all Ash's Pikachu has to do is scamper up the Hulk's face, electrocute both of his eyes, then Iron Tail his skull into the pavement. Without even being told that the Hulk would just as easily stand up from that, I've already made a case for Pikachu and decidedly voted for him anyway. Just like how I've decidedly voted for Pikachu over Bubbles. It is then up to popular opinion or whoever can make a case, to believe me or Veir or their own gut.

But for as long as you think the Touhou girls, Guts, Segata, and The Hulk are invincible, then that's your prerogative. I disallowed "OP" characters because you can't ever make a case against those gods for anything other than an equally godlike claim. The Hulk is still pretty doable no matter what the popular opinion is.

Here's the one question that can finally solve Sakuya vs Hulk: Can the Hulk punch abstract concepts? I recall Superman (or his son, I think) punching the universe so hard it reset the timeline. If the Hulk really does have unlimited strength, perhaps he can punch time and knock Sakuya off her feet.

I consider "being made of abstraction" an OP ability. The Hulk can hit em, and this shouldn't even be questioned.

Anyways, we've delayed this long enough. I've said my piece and you've all said yours. And really this is what I really wanted. Even if we're unchanging in opinions (some), there's a clear line of thought and speculation for whatever is happening. I'm a bit swayed by Veir's argument for Bubbles but I'm sticking to my guns on it as that's my personal preference. And this is why I said it doesnt matter if it's just the same 4-5 people voting.

Anyways, let's tally it all up:

*If anyone changed their previous votes but didnt edit their posts at all and just declared it, I'm not responsible for keeping track. Whatever is bolded is the vote. And for the record, I am allowing change votes now.

Block CC Results:
Rorschach beats Robert Mcall (3-2)
The Flash and Xigbar TIE (3-3)
Reisen pwns Ash (4-0)
Jackie Estacato pwns Redd Heart (4-0)

Block DD Results:
Stitch pwns Erron Black (4-0)
Ness beats Kalena Eirwen (5-1)
The Hulk beats Sakuya (4-1)
Bubbles beats Ash's Pikachu (5-1)

Alright, game on.

Not gonna vote Crash and Jak's battle by now cuz I feel like they have the same skills to each other. Although after seeing the wiki more, I feel like Jak's powers depend on eco powers, but then it's also mentioned he also has decent acrobatic skill like Crash, so I can only give a tie for this match so far. Gotta wait for further discussion with these two.

Yamato
FLLFFL
Reason: Alfa is a freaking survivor. He can pretty much withstand Yamato's bullet attacks with his jet sword and his agility would confuse her.

Carnage
Duke Nukem
Reason: Soo superhuman serial killer and a badass Earth defender. I thought Carnage could easily win this one by making little minions out of his symbiotes in order to win - if that counts - and also a serial killer. But hey, apparently Duke already had an experience in destroying an entire alien invasion force back in the day, like whut?! Earth defender to me.

Leeroy Jenkins
Illidan Stormrage
Reason: I think he's just a great wizard with wings and all. Not to mention his skills in combats are pretty much decent too, according to wiki.

========================

Jax
Jake
Reason: Jax be the real fighter. Even Jake can shape-shift his body to unlimited size, I'm thinking Jax can then release his hold with his lamppost in pretty much ease. At the end of the fight Jax'll be able to cope with Jake's attacks and possibly overwhelm him with more combos.

Trafalgar Law
Bill Rizer
Reason: Law's reality manipulation is just amazing and I think it's really effective it can make his other enemies afraid, making their self-esteem lower and all. Personally think it'll happen to Bill Rizer too with no exception as he's only a soldier to me, not much.

Link
Doomsday
Reason: Doomsday's bones are really strong that I'm sure it can cut out Link's sword after several clashes. And once his sword got broken, Doomsday would possibly be able to crush him down with his holy strength in the end.

Xenomorph
Triangle
Reason: Triangle's such a great monster fighter. He used to be able to kill a golem right from the inside, like dude. Although I'm still having a doubt as Tri was in a rage state that time instead of his normal state, but with his hand-drills he can do anything to make a hole from his enemy's body.

Any discussions and debates against these are definitely welcome. I won't bite~.

I'm still on my vote for Xigbar at the tie breaker.

Crash Bandicoot
Jak

If temporary powerups were available I'd give this fight to Jak easily. But since they're not I have to say Crash would win. He's just consistently more powerful in his regular state.

Yamato
FLLFL

I honestly have no idea who would win.

Carnage
Duke Nukem

Carnage is like the scarier version of Venom. The guy is a remorseless monster that nearly killed an entire universe. I doubt Duke has any real way he can hurt the guy considering his only weakness is sound.

Leeroy Jenkins
Ilidan Stormrage

Leeroy might be the warrior of legend but I doubt he can 1v1 Ilidan.

========================

Jax
Jake

Jax defeats Zac on a regular basis so I don't see how a less combat effective shapeshifter would be able to beat him.

Trafalgar Law
Bill Rizer

Law's got reality manipulation. Pls.

Link
Doomsday

This here was my hard choice. It all came down to one thing, could the Master Sword cut Doomsday? I believe it can. The Master Sword is the Sword of Evil's Bane and I personally think that Doomsday would be considered evil since he's a mindless killing machine. So Link has a weapon that would actually be able to harm Doomsday. Also Link's power gauntlets let him pick up pillars larger than buildings. I think he can swing the sword hard enough.

Xenomorph
Triangle

A badass robot versus an acid blood alien. I don't see the xenomorph being able to really hurt Triangle before it is fatally wounded.

EDIT: I added my reasonings.

Crash Bandicoot
Jak - I will let technology decide this one.

Yamato
FLLFL - FL's jet sword allows him great mobility and his intense training allow him to weave through the hail of cannons Yamato might unleash.

Carnage
Duke Nukem - Duke has enough experience to take care of someone like him.

Leeroy Jenkins
Ilidan Stormrage - Ilidan's not dumb, he knows how to punish a reckless knight.

========================

Jax
Jake - Jake doesn't work that way, Mustika.

Trafalgar Law - Not even a fight.
Bill Rizer

Link
Doomsday - Link. Is. DOOMED!!

Xenomorph
Triangle - I understand that the Xenomorph's acid blood is pretty potent and it might dissolve him, but Triangle moves fast and breaks things and should puree the alien long before his hands melt away. As for the engagement itself, since the alien is alone, Triangle has the advantage of being capable of plowing through everything just to reach his target. Also, since his opponent isn't friendly, he's less likely to hesitate to defend himself.
