'38', The Wandering Samurai

-Abilities
38 is a deadly samurai, trained in the way of the sword since he was young, as well as several types of martial arts, even teaching himself Bruce Lee's "Jeet Kun Do", or "Way of the Intercepting Fist". He has very astute senses that he uses in battle to predict his opponents movements in battle. His eyesight is his best asset, as he can see things from miles away in the sharpest of definitions. In this sense, He is very protected against Ranged attacks. He is very fast, able to keep up with that of a Gazelle at jogging pace, even able to reach Cheetah speeds if he pushes himself. he has very good hearing, yet it's not as good as his sight.
-Weaknesses
38 is only Human, he can be cut, burned, drowned, and anything else that would kill a human. He is slightly weapon dependent. Even though he is trained in several kinds of martial arts, he prefers to keep his blade in hand, and stay blades length away from his opponent. 38 isn't as strong as he is fast, His strengths come from him being fast enough to evade hits and deliver a swift amount of attacks before he can be hit. To reach Cheetah-like speeds, he has to drop all extra weight, including his katana. As said before, he is virtually defenseless without his blade, so getting to this speed can be very dangerous for him. His greatest asset is also his greatest weakness. Take away his eyesight, and he is as good as dead, though he does have his hearing as a backup.

-Abilities
-Master Sword Skill
-Master of several types of martial arts, Muay Thai as a primary, and Combat Qi Kickboxing as a secondary.
-His eyesight is near perfect, making him almost impervious to ranged attacks.
-Has trained since a young age, and therefore is at his physical peak. He runs a lot faster, Reacts quicker, Thinks faster, and can endure much more hits than a normal person.
-Through special training with the shaman of his village, he has gained power beyond comprehension. His fathers blade, Kurosawa, holds the powers of light and darkness.
-Light ~He can harness the light to strike down evil and provide healing where it is needed. It also ejects purifying flames he can use to banish even the darkest of evils.
-Dark ~He can harness the darkness to gain immense power, but also gain a swelling blood lust. When used, his base stats increase 10 fold, growing even stronger every minute, yet losing more and more of his sanity the longer he uses it. His blade becomes rigged, ripping through flesh, pulling out all its bits and pieces along with it.
(Kairo does not need to have his sword to activate these powers, due to his massive training with them, his spirit is enough to fuel the powers.)

Strength: 7.5/10 ~ While he is strong, his true strength comes from his tactics, and his speed.
Intelligence: 10/10 ~ Kairo is known to spy on his enemies weeks, even months before his fights to learn every tiny little detail about them, and before his fight, always makes plans as to the location, and puts himself in the shoes of his opponents, giving him almost direct control over his fights.
Endurance: 8/10 ~ His Combat Qi training gives him the endurance he needs to resist even the strongest of attacks.
Speed: 9.5/10 ~ Kairo's strongest trait stems from his speed. At first, it was just physical speeding, giving him the speeds of a cheetah and even above so if he drops all weight. It then stemmed into his thinking, giving him increased thinking speed, as well as increased reaction time.
These stats make him the renowned samurai he is today.
-Weaknesses
-Kairo is very weapon dependent. While he is very good at hand to hand combat, way above average in fact, he prefers to keep his enemies at swords length away.
-As said before, Using the power of darkness drains away at his sanity, and gives him increasing blood lust which causes him to stray away from his good tendencies.
-Over using the healing factor of his power of light will give him splitting headaches which slows his reaction time, as well as his thinking and movement speed.
-Kairo has sworn off killing unless the one he is killing is evil. This rule begins to break away if he uses the darkness for too long, as for using the light too long, he will stray away from fighting at all.
-Due to his weapon dependence, Kairo cannot use his top speed during a fight unless he is separated from his sword. And even if he is, he will usually use the speed to regain his weapon.
-His sword can be broken. Breaking his sword usually crushes his pride as well, because the sword is so special to him. This will make him very angry, and he expels all qualms about killing.

-Story
~Once a renowned son of a great village leader, now turned into a deadly samurai, wandering the lands to strike down those with no honor, and those who hope to wreak havoc, and do wrong unto others. As a child, he was trained from a young age to be a great warrior. His father, the leader of the village, and the best fighter, taught him single-handily, turning him into the best samurai of his era. He took special training courses with his village elders, as well as the mystical shaman of the village. Everything changed on one fateful day. His village was attacked, everyone slaughtered. He survived by hiding among the rubble that used to be his home. As he came out of hiding, he then discovered what a terrible place the world was. Taking his father's famed blade, Kurosawa, he left what used to be his home, and wandered the land, vowing to do good and only good for those who deserve it.
