Clan threads can be for chatting, but within reason. The chat thread/general forum exists for things that go completely and utterly off topic, like talking about movies you've seen recently or whatever. If you bring up something in your personal life and that starts a discussion about something, as long as it doesn't veir too far away from being related to you guys or things that affect thd clan or rhg in general then it's fine.
