Hi, I'm new..

Wondering how long it takes to make a high end stick figure animation?

Length between 3-5 minutes

Not as complex as some of the works I have seen but needs to be to a high production standard

Probably more questions to come

Thanks all

It usually takes more than 2 months, but it mostly depends on how much computer time you get, but if you have experience it will take less.

If you want to ask more questions, you should post them here: HELP , but only after you're sure they're not here already: STUFF

Thanks for the responses lads,

Im not actually looking for help making one, I'm a music producer and I'm thinking about using a stick animation as my music video.

Basically any animators for hire?

So, where should I post for that?

Thanks.

This is probably the right place. Either here or Community projects. If you could link to sone of your music and then specify how much you'd be paying that would be a good place to start

Thanks for the info,

I cant post up any links to my music, this is a new project I'm working on and I'm incognito for now.

However I can share it with whoever I hire when the tracks are post-production, I won't be back in the studio for another two weeks at least.
(roughly three weeks to find a stick animator)
I can give people an idea of genre.

I already have a rough script for the video & some graphics that I had made for promo that I want as props.

As far as payment goes I'm in bit of a grey area here, after reading the forums I see that you have sponsored videos that pay $150, I don't want want to undervalue your work & I will be paying more than this,

Any guidelines?

I will need a second made one month down the line as a follow up, as a consequence consistency is key.
