I have no absolute idea what my mother did to our family's PC, the desktop is suddenly crappy and literally takes 5 damn seconds to refresh.

Wifi internet is good, and when I connect my laptop to the modem, it's ok. But my PC somehow won't connect to it... No internet, everything else runs fine(Games, Animations, Programs) but Google and anything related to the Internet won't work at all. Our Avast that just got payed says that our license has expired, and I have 4 assignments to do with this computer...



I need help. I scanned it with a spare antivirus and it said 100% clean. Booted it in safe/clean mode, and still nothing. Running Windows 7 Ultimate, and this issue JUST happened. I have no idea what caused it, but I want to know why, and how to fix it. Really desperate. I posted this using my phone.

What ISP do you have? Sometimes my modem won't recognize wired connection and I have to unplug it for like a minute.

Reboot your computer in safe mode with networking and run virus protection that way. Chances are you got something gnarly from all of that porn that you watch.
