Let me know what you think ^^

Thanks

It's really cool what you're trying to do here, but it's really hard to make out what's going on without staring at the image for 3 minutes. The stickfigures themselves blend into the background because it's too dark, with the weapons and the tentacles(?) being the only thing you can make out. There is way too much negative space as well, negative space being the area that isn't the main subject, the stickfigures. Again, really cool what you're trying to do, but next time try to make the stickfigures the center of attention vs. being blips on a huge canvas, and try to make it easier to understand what is going on in the picture.

I've added another picture which is the same only then a brighter background, I know this is not 100% what you said, but it's a small change that makes a lot of difference I believe. I think I'm going to make a background, make the ground more exciting etc etc... Also, those are not intended to be tentacles, but energy waves of some sort. Also, the source image has a way better quality, can anyone recommend a good website to upload these so I can post them with a higher quality? I'm pretty certain the website I used(postimg) lowered the quality and I'm somewhat certain that the link towards that postimg picture also looses some of the quality, so if I upgrade the source, it'll also look a lot better over here. Thank you in advance.

It's not so much the quality as it is the overall composition, the background just overpowers what should be the main focus, the stickfigures. If you need a good place to upload stuff, though, I usually upload all of my artwork to my DeviantArt's sta.sh, and then copy+paste the image from there or provide a direct link. Also, your very first post seems to have disappeared... at least on my screen it has, so I can't see the redone version that you say you've put up. Either way, a background might help a bit, I look forward to seeing that iteration!

It seems to be missing on my screen aswell, don't know what happened, and apparently i can't create or edit to post anymore here, so i guess i'll just upload it in a reply^^

I'm using the deviantart thingy you recommended, checking if it makes a difference...

Also I'd like to hear what/if you have any ideas^^ how it can improve is what I mean, you say the main focus should be the stick figures and that it is not enough, To be honest I have no idea how to change that, so... any suggestions? I'll probably do some things myself offcourse, but i'm happy to hear suggestions on how to improve

Ahhhh, I see the ground now. It was so dark that it was hard to see the ground before.

What I mean by making the stickfigures the main focus is making sure that they are large enough that the background doesn't overpower them. With the size that they are in the current picture, the only way that you could really make it work is if you had a more complex background. If you're using a simplistic background, the stickfigures should take up most of the picture. For example! http://sta.sh/01vsddpe0lfm Here are a few avatars that i did back when I ran an avatar shop. All of the stickfigures either A: take up most of the picture, or B: have some sort of complex background element to get rid of the boring negative space. Give it a try!

I would also recommend looking into the "Rule of Thirds". Basically, if there's an imaginary 3x3 grid on your picture, you don't want the main focus to be smack dab in the middle. It should be close to one of the areas where the grid lines intersect. On your picture, the blue guy is right in the middle, and your eye kind of gets caught there and doesn't want to look anywhere else. Look it up, and try messing around with that next time.

Detailed weapons never go well with single-colour sticks, the art style is way too inconsistent.
