Hello,

I've wanted to make a full length stickfigure movie for a while now, and I want to get as many Stickfigure Animators as I can to make this become a reality.
So basically I want to create a story, and then give it over to a community of stickfigure loving animators to create. I would be the Director, Editor (probably), and Publisher of the movie.

I have an amazing story idea I just need to get written down and to be turned into a movie.

This would be and NON-PAID job, just for fun, in your free time.

Thanks.

Also to mention, it would be very cinematic and story driven, not just mindlessly bloody action. Also would be in black and white style.

Actually, there's been a full length stick movie before. If you've ever seen the castle series, there's been a movie of that. And there's a series called "Dick Figures" which also has a movie. I'd maybe be interested, but making a movie is a pretty tough job. And since styles can vary a ton in stick figures, usually just one person would have to do a lot by himself. Like one person doing almost all the main animation, a couple of other people doing the effects, etc. And also the fact that it can't be all fighting, since as epic that movie would be, no one wants to work in the same thing for two years, so there will have to be plenty of dialogue. Also, i recommend learning some animation yourself before asking people to join you in something like this. An animator is more likely to join in something if he either knows the person hosting it, or if the host is a really good animator.

Dude, you should probably try working on your own full length projects before coming here asking for help on something we aren't even sure you can handle. Its just not going to work out for you.

I totally agree...it would be better if you show us one of your own projects first..

Thanks Guys, I am actually an animator, but I didn't stick with Stickfigure animation.. I went to on and learned Stop Motion and claymation, these days I hardly ever open Flash.
my most recent Stickfigure Animation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaqkCUzyS7o
I could download pivot or something like that and make some kind of showreel for to show off my latest skills with Stickfigures, even though I haven't done it in a while.

Yeah umm i don't think that amount of skill will get you many people. You usually have to be intermediate level at least to make a good successful collab. But either way, I decided i wanna join in. Mainly cuz it'd be awesome to help make an actual movie. But there will be a lot of work to do on your part as well for this movie. I'll PM you the details. But just be sure you actually wanna go through with this. If you are, I'd be glad to help out in any way i can.
