Usually people in that shop use flash.
Actually i think everyone in the shop does use flash, xept for styreex, he uses pixot.

Yep, stick art is generally made in flash

Screw using flash for art. Use Photoshop or SAI or anything actually meant for drawing. Flash has terrible drawing tools unless simple vector stuff is your kinda style.

the original thread was asking on how people did stick art on a stick art shop.

And due to the kind of simple vector tools flash has it is easy to do stick art on it. <_<

I don't see how recommending more (and ones that are actually more useful in the broader aspect.) programmes isn't helping.

It is just as easy to do the same in Photoshop or SAI, and you get more options.

Yet considering the fact most of people doing stick art animate but not all of them might have the resources to afford / get another software is better just to keep flash.
Also since you use flash to animate it is easy to do stuff on it instead of having to learn a whole new program.
Sure photoshop and sai are better, but If it is stick art photoshop or sai.. really arent a great option. Since those are more complex programs specifically designed for more complexity on itself.
So if its about stick art it is just simpler to keep at it with flash.
No real reason to get a full other program for stick art.
