Hey everyone as some of you know already we are developing Stick War: Legacy for mobile. But this thread is not about Stick War or even a stick Game this is about a new new game in development that we want to share. The reason I'm posting here is because most of the people in this section have a good grasp on game balance and love to come up with cool ideas as shown by the many threads of game balance suggestions. I want to see if this community would be willing to help us out in testing, giving feedback, and even hopefully filling up the wiki. The game is called "Mini Legends". It defines a brand new genre of gaming called a MOBAS (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena Simulation). The gameplay allow players to coach and command a team of 5 champions as they compete on the field of battle. Each player also has a town where they can recruit new champions, while training up their existing ones. We will be accepting Tech Alpha testers soon.
We are in the early stages and will be developing the game for at least a year. This is something that we will need continual feedback for in the Mini Legends forums.
The cool part is you can immediately begin playing and testing now. Just visit the website http://www.minilegends.com/ and get the game from the "Current Builds" and sign up in the forums.
We suggest that you partner up when you playing multiplayer so you're able to find a match as the only users that will be online will you guys.
This game will be available on PC/Mac/IOS/Android. You can play across platforms and even leave the mid game and come back to the game on a different device, the game will continue to run on the servers.
The game is being developed by the same three guys that brought you Stick Empires and the Stick War series. Brock White, Winston Zhang, and Myself Jason Whitham (CRAZY JAY).
How to Play and Basics:
TOWN
1. The First thing you will see is the Town and as you can see Most of the buildings are not active. There are two notice boards in the town , one with match history and the other patch notes. IN the Future we will have many buildings that you will be able to train up your champions in from getting new skins to leveling up and recruiting new champions.
2. The Large stone structure with two golden statues guarding is the Champion Selection building. Clicking this will take you to a new screen where you can choose your champions and which lane they will be in to start the match. From there you can click Single or Multiplayer. Right now Single Player will not be much of a challenge as they do not buy items yet but we will slowly improve that. We recommend finding a friend to play against before hand and both click multiplayer close to the same time to match up.
In Game
1. The game begins with your 5 champions that you previously selected walking out into there lanes. IE TOP, MID, Jungle, Support, and Bottom.
2. Like DOTA or LOL your goal is to take down the opp towers and work your way towards the final Structure in the Opp base once you destroy that you win.
3. Your Job is to manage your Gold by buying items for your 5 champions. Manage which lanes they should fight in and when as well as if you want them to return to base. In the future you will also be able to set their stance to defensive, neutral or aggressive. You will be able to prioritize points of attack and targets. You will be able to call team fights, ganks and Objectives. You will also be able to tell your champions when to cast there ultimates of which each Champion will have 1 with different cooldown times.
4. You are limited by "Command Points" which are next to your gold, This way you can not continually move your Champions all over the place and rather must strategically manage your command points.
5. 1. To buy an Item Click the champion, Click the item you wish to buy and Click buy. You have then put this item in queue to buy, however (and this is important) you have not equip this item until that champion returns home to base.
6. Your Champions will also gain Experience naturally as they are nearby when they kill minions. IF you have multiple champions in a lane the XP is becomes shared to a degree. So by this putting 5 champions in one lane might give you a tactical advantage to push that lane, over time they XP bonus will not be favorably split and your champions may fall behind.
7. If you wish to resign or start again push ESC and then click resign you will return to the town.
