(Suggestion) Team Match

I know some of you have talked about this topic, but this is my version, so if something like the version of someone else I did not intentionally copy. After I say this, I can start now.

All games of Stick Empires are always 1vs1, but what if we change that and make games of 2vs2? How this would work?

Preparation

4 players are necessary, each player will chose their empires, the game must balance the rankings to make both teams have approximately the same ranking in total.

The Begin

Each person will start with their respective 500 gold and 0 mana, it will be 1000 gold and 0 mana in total, but each person will control their respective gold and mana, they will share some upgrades (sometimes), statue, gold mines, the middle tower (if they capture it, and they gold earned from it), the castle and the territory. Each person will see his partner units in green color.

The Development and Ending

It will be exactly as other games, but both persons must help each other to destroy the statue and kill the enemy units (if it is necessary). Some upgrades they do (there is no matter of what empires the chose) will be taken individually, for example if a person upgrade passive income gold he'll be the only in getting the gold every few seconds.
Both players will gain the same ranking.

Team Chat: A chat between the members of one team, enemy cant see it. To activate it, player must press T key, and send the text with ENTER.

Upgrades

Castle Archers, Deads or Element (1, 2 and 3): Both persons will be the only able to buy them. but they will only be able to buy 3 as always. Both are able to buy it, and when they do, both will be able to buy the next. If both persons select the same empire, the castle units will be the corresponding of the empire, but if both select diferent empires, the castle units will be the corresponding of the empire that selected the person with higher ranking. Whatever empire they select, both can buy the castle units.

Passive Income Gold (1, 2 and 3): Both persons will be able to buy it, and both will gain the gold and mana obtained from this upgrade. And it will be the same with Castle Archers, Deads or Element (1, 2 and 3):, both are able to buy it, and when they do, both will be able to buy the next.

Resilience (Statue Health): Both players are able to buy them.

Units upgrades: If both players selected the same empire, both will be able to buy these upgrades. Once one has buy one of these upgrades, the upgrade will affect both players. For example if one player buy "Fire Arrow" both will be able to use them in their archidons.
If players selected diferent empires, each one will be able to buy their own upgrades, for example if one player buy "Fire Arrow", it will only affect himself.

Tower Spawn (1 and 2): Both players will be able to buy both of the upgrades. If both players selected the same empire, the ghost will be the corresponding of that empire, but if players selected diferent empires, the ghost will be the corresponding of the empire who selected the person with the higher rank of the team, but still both players can buy the upgrades, no matter empires.

Miner Hustle: Both players will be able to buy it, and will afect the miners of both players, no matter what empire they selected.

Miner Wall/Miner Tower: If both players select Order or Chaos, both will be able to buy the upgrade once time. Each one can buy only 1 Wall/Tower and destroy them if they want, but both will defend them. If players selected Order and Chaos, it will be walls or towers, corresponding to the empire that selected the person with higher rank, and he'll be the only who can buy and build them. If a person selected Elemental and the other Order or Chaos, automatically, the person who selected Order or Chaos will be able to buy and build them. If both players selected elemental, they wont have that upgrade.

Personally, I had this idea a long time ago too and I would love to see it in this game, but there are a few issues which would make it less enjoyable.

Ping time. Welcome to lag city, population you and 3 other players unless you all got the hookup of great internet and a great PC.

Also, you saying that the 2 players have to research their own stuff means.. 6 castle archers? ouch. Stall meta.

Plus the chaos and elemental combination of empires would beat the crap out of order and order.

For that reason they must be balanced between rankings and empires, sorry if I did t say.

And about the three castle archers they should share it to.

And about lag they should make a lower quality(s), idk, they must try to find a way to create this game mode, all agree when I say this woukd be awesome.

4 users with different pings will just ruin the match. Idk if there is anything they CAN do about it.

Still wouldn't work since pings differ, which would make the game laggy as f.

Short of a recode to make all gameplay client to server rather than also client to client the lag is going to ruin this.

Anyway, a combo of empires crushes any combo of two single empires (o,o/c,c/e,e)

Plus we have been over the ping and connection issues with servers and in general players.

This thread has been made 4 different times (by 3 different people). It is irrelevant that the thread exists as it was made after a discussion as to why it would not work in the suggestion thread.

Order and Chaos combo = aggresive empire that can also turtle = gg.

Plus being able to protect bombers would be op ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A good chaos player can protect his bombers :P

I disagree
Double archer start is going to be really powerful against Chaos / Ele and Double Chaos can start 1212 and 1616 to go for miners at a super super early phase in the game. Dittos aren't necessarily going to suck.
