Why yes we have. It is called the RHG Comic Brawl Saga as can be seen if you scroll down in this nifty SP History Thread. In that entry are also a set of links leading to any and every attempt to make comic threads more "organized" by creating standards that police content---each of them failing dramatically, and each iteration less successful than the last.

Btw, before anyone says anything: yes, RHG is gay. But you guys are doing exactly what that same group was doing. It can only end in misery, gents. Trust me.

No. No it's not. It really isn't. The stream of consciousness style that this thread originally set out to do, is the best and only way to successfully make a comic thread. Don't repeat the sins of the past and give me another entry to write about in the History Thread.

That's not to say you can't take input from everyone else to help influence your decisions. I'm sure we all would agree that you're quite capable of setting and enforcing some quality control guidelines.

this isn't even my thread. is there any problem with the concept of voting to begin with? if someone is too dumb to add a poll to their panel, then their panel gets ignored. sounds good to me.

it's not always easy or obvious to judge who sucks.

If this thing gets rules added to it i guarantee fun is going to need a funeral soon. i mean if someone creates a bad post then just skip over them.

This thread definitely needs some rules to function in a more orderly fashion. As is, these comics are pretty garbage

No one stopped this comic. Multiple posts have stressed that. All previous comics stopped because everyone felt it had run its course. If you want to continue it, please do so. I agree with Drone that it needs to be tightened up somehow, even though I do somewhat also agree with Hewitt's point (even though he made it in such a condescending manner).

We can all agree on one thing though, that my panels were the most pleasing to look at ;D
