My favorite car... probably the 1979 corvette. Mmm-mm, the LINES on that. Or more specifically, the lack of lines- it's so smooth an beveled and pretty, and I am a sucker for the pop up headlights. Though, it could just be nostalgia speaking- my dad owns that car, and I was raised being the coolest kid in school during the rare times when he came to pick me up in it. XD (Not to mention all the Corvettes made in the 80s... *shudder* they're so ugly in comparison. Did they have a loss of budget, or...?)

(I also find it interesting how they're... almost living creatures, just ones that we've built out of metal? They have "organ" systems, can get ill, make different noises depending on their health, need to be "fed" in order to survive, some are adapted for different purposes, they are sometimes bought for young human beings as a trust that they are responsible...)

I never understood how people call cars sexy. I understand that cars are designed with curvy bodies that very slightly resemble female anatomy as a means of attracting male buyers (also for aerodynamics etc.), but I never saw them as "sexy". I do not have any urges towards making out with a sports vehicle.
