Turns out if I dug a hole straight down from Perth, I would eventually come out the other side at exactly Bermuda island, on the very tip of the Bermuda triangle.

Perth, Australia is the farthest city from Austin with a distance of 16,830 km.

Interestingly, neither Hialeah or Miami are the farthest from any city over 100k in population.

Nah I only mentioned tunisians :P

I'm a few days late, but I thought it was interesting to note that every city in the UK gets the same 1st place result: Auckland, NZ. Second place, on the other hand, is either Sydney or Melbourne depending on whether you're in the north or south of the country. But if you look at 100k populations then it's always the same five NZ cities in the same order. And as far as I can say, no UK city is the furthest from anywhere else. The whole country must map onto a small region of the south pacific.
(I didn't actually try every city, but I was born in the south of England and now live in the north of Scotland so I tried both, checked a west-coast city for good measure, and extrapolated.)
