This question was based off of a YouTube question I once saw that I thought was pretty interesting.
So let's say there are two people: Bob and Bobby. Bob is biking in the desert when he sees a guy named Bobby, who's very thirsty. Although Bob is thirsty too, he gives Bobby his water to drink. Bobby drinks all of the water. Then Bob leaves. Eventually, Bob dies because he's too thirsty.

So here's the question. Is Bobby a murderer, (because he drank all the water) or did Bob commit suicide? (because he gave Bobby all his water that he needed)

Did Bob intend for Bobby to drink all the water? Either way, it's an accidental death, neither homicide nor suicide.

murder by definition requires malicious intentions which this example doesn't have.

if Bob willingly ventured into the desert with the intent to die then that would be suicide. if he shared the water knowing he would die and that's what he wanted, it would be suicide. if he just shared the water to save someone at his expense then it's sacrifice, I suppose, not suicide.

I partly agree with Exilement, Bob didn't took Bobby's water by force... But here's my concern, did Bobby purposely drank it all and knowing it would lead Bob's death? Is being a selfish dick, makes you a murderer? To me it seems to slightly fall under the murder category. Just like that 1972 Andes flight disaster: plane crashed, people stranded, need to survive, ate their dead comrades, making them cannibals. But IDK just wanna point that out... :/

Murder is based off of intention to kill, but similar terms (such as manslaughter) do include accidental or negligent actions. You only get off "Scott-free" if you could not have possibly prevent the other person's death. So, Bobby's decision to drink all of the water would most likely fall under manslaughter due to negligent action.
Bob did not commit suicide either way, but as a final note on that, its not like anyone is going to be able to ask him what he intended when they find him. ;)

... Ok 1 it's bobs fault for not bringing enough water. Why is bob biking in the desert without the proper amount of water.
Why would bob continue to ride his bike when he knows he'll get dehydrated. Also how long was bob riding his bike because a human can last 3 days without water. Why didn't he just drink his own pee bear grills style. Why didn't bob call for help because I would assume you wouldn't bike in the desert without a phone. Any way it's not homicide or suicide because bobby didn't intend to kill him and bob didn't intend to kill himself.

I think it's neither actually. Bob didn't mean to die when he gave Bobby his water, and Bobby didn't mean to inadvertently cause Bob's death by drinking up that liquid life. So yeah, no malicious intent, methinks.
