A guy leaves prison, carrying with him nothing else but the underwear and the snapback he wore the day he got arrested. He had nowhere to go; his brother was shot in a gang war, his mom didn't like him enough to give him a ride somewhere, and he never met his dad. Having no family, he decided to walk to his drugdealing friend's house since it was nearby and he can swing by a dog pound on his way there. As he left the pound a bit heavier than when he went in, he walked past a watermelon vendor and stole a slice. Using the bike that he stole from the watermelon vendor, he made his way to his friend's house.

Question: how big is the guy's penis?
Small, he needs room to smuggle the dog he stole from the pound as well as keep the watermelon slice.

Well I'm going to pass that opportunity to someone else, I can't come up with anything good at the moment.

Can we make our own riddles? If so, here goes.

What can give freedom and take it away?
Hint: It has shaped the course of human history. It's even inside books.

I don't know if the answer is "a key" but your riddle has multiple answers if it's not

Words? Either that or laws.
