So i think most of you guys have heard of the new Death battle? no? im gonna tell you anyway.

the new death battle is donkey kong vs knuckles, these two badasses were my favorite characters in their respective games.
but i cant help but think who would win between them in the newest death battle?

(i would love to hear reasons!)

and btw donkey kongs overview is already released in the screwattack channel.

I think everyone has pretty figured out that Sonic the Hedgehog characters are overpowered as fuck. Meanwhile Donkey Kong hurls barrels at things, swings vines and beats up jungle animals.

I mean last 2times sonic characters had a death battle they both won somehow.

To be honest I don't know what kind of powers does knuckles have lol. DK just has brute force, never seen him using an item or something so he might be fighting only with his bare hands lol.

According to the overview I saw, he does have items, a bit rudimentary (e.g. log shotgun?) but he has 'em. His physical feats (especially according to the comments) seem pretty solid.

They're coconuts and they travel at about 10mph. Knuckles can punch through solid stone with no problem.

Well, I want DK to win but chances are Knuckles is going to win. Whenever a Mario character fights a Sonic character, the Sonic character ALWAYS wins.

That's because the death battle people are extremely biased. In the tails v luigi match luigi used only like a quarter of his abilities. If luigi used all of them he would have won hands down.

Knuckles can glide/fly climb up basically any surface other than a liquid one. He's actually pretty fast (much faster than dk) and he can do strong punches. Also he's not as easy to hit because he's smaller. Knuckles is also just a rapid attacker. If you look at Sonic X knuckles vs sonic you can see he hits really fast and breaks stones.

DK can throw barrels, has coconut guns that can practically do nothing to knuckles and dk can throw barrels or some sht. He's also a bigger target to hit.

Who do you think will win? Hint: not DK

I'm pretty sure DK has more moves than that. Are you taking into account his smash abilities?

I don't play ssb and it abilities from that game shouldn't be included as knuckles isn't in ssb if I am correct.

But if we're counting smash moves the only real thing is a strong punch that throws you far. (I also saw the whole speed punch donkey Kong has) and Knuckles could easily avoid both. Knuckles would see the explosive punch get hit once or twice and then back off because he has the speed to do so.

Also in tails vs luigi. Tails didn't use a quarter of his abilities (or items) either. Tails has a jet with homING misses and the jet can go as fast as sonic is willing to go. Tails had many more weapons like Luigi thar he didn't use.
