My friend and I plan on doing a rhg battle against eachother this week the moment I post my RHG. Sounds good and all but the problem is my demo is taking too long and the work is tedious.
Any line tool tips to speed this up or at least make this less difficult?

make what less difficult, the process of animation? it's a tedious and slow process for an individual. regardless of how you go about it, if you animate at 18 fps you're going to have to draw 1,080 individual frames for every minute of viewing experience you want to deliver to whatever audience you have. if this sounds tedious and boring it's because it is, this is what you signed up for.
I guarantee you there's no hidden technique or secret to something as simple as the line tool that you're missing out on. efficiency comes with practice, there's no trick to it.
I know the idea of being an animator is exciting but really, consider this. you're talking about a demo, just a simple demonstration of what your RHG can do, and this small workload is already a tedious and insurmountable task for you. I mean no offense when I say maybe it'd be wise to consider other hobbies that can actually hold your interest.

You could, turn on your object drawing and ctrl+alt your lines. instead of making 2 lines for a leg you make 1 and so...

The more you practice the quicker you get. Sure there are some "shortcuts" but I can guarantee at your skill level you would probably be just as slow with them. Animating is something that takes time to learn, like Exilement said.

Everyone already said anything else, but just FYI, most RHG demo's are usually less then 30 seconds or something. Not saying you shouldn't try for 2 minutes. If you can do that, then hey, by all means, proceed. Just letting you know.
*EDIT*:
