You shouldn't worry about smoothness at this point. There are a lot of other things that are more important than smoothness. What I saw was the biggest problem was that only one body part would move at a time. Here's an example: http://www.fastswf.com/qQW2mls
What you need to do is make every body part move when you do a movement. Not just one limb at a time. This will make the anim look heaps more nice and natural.

For mine some times I did that at an attempt to make the animation better like when Utility tried to scare Dirt away with a punch while he was on the ground.

For Ben I think this applies the most because he moves one thing at a time and ends up making a very choppy animation.

Okay ya'll need to work on moving those body parts also smoothness and I guess a bit of effects
But I think Keegat's work made a little sense then Dirtinator's.... so keep improving. :D

Hi, I'm starting out on animating, I'm actually working on my first RHG right now, and even though yours (Utility's) is less choppy, i thought dirt's fighting scenes were better :( sorry.

Thanks, But Utility will probably win, he started animating way before I did, he deserves to win :)

Just work on your smoothness, guys, both of you. Just apply the advice given so far.
And I feel that it was a bit too fast for Keeg, but the effects were good.
I'm switching to flash, but I remember the good ol days of pivot.
