I still have access to that site :P it still functions somewhere on a server deep in the dark forgotten crawlspace of the internet.

Need a little context here, did you develop this as well? And how much "access" do you have for it? Is it dead?

No haha it was thrown together by another old member of FA who also made websites. FrameMash wasn't technically anything special, it was just WordPress with a Social plugin. Stone helped by hosting it off his FA server for free, and it remained there after it died. It died because the guy that made it had a habit of getting bored of his sites then killing them. I have complete access to the source and DB which I could do anything with.

don't tell me it's somewhere in the deep web
If you really have complete access of the sources, why you didn't integrate it into SP ?
I mean it would be great if it's happen

Looking at the video, I feel that Jeff did integrate some of this, but into the dojo.

Haha I don't think that would be a good idea. The site was made in a way that I would never be okay with doing, and with the amount of traffic SP gets I bet it would be incredibly slow and unreliable. FrameMash has never been any sort of influence on my work here or at Dojo, especially because it was never exactly an original website since anyone could download Wordpress and the social plugin and get their own working copy of FrameMash. I've had plans for a social platform for animators long before FrameMash was ever a thing, and the framework that became the Dojo began during that time. FrameMash is essentially just a quick and dirty experiment that didn't have any long term strategy. There are many reasons I couldn't and wouldn't just drop the FrameMash code onto here.
The good news if you haven't heard is that I'm working on a proper overhaul of SP that will include some of the basic social network concepts that FrameMash was based off of. They will just be adapted to suit this community in a more appropriate way than what I did for Dojo. You can check out the StickPage Related Discussion thread to see more about it if you're curious (towards the last few pages), otherwise sit tight and the new site will be out before anyone knows it. :P

Looks very cheap. Plus we have a group on Facebook so I guess the problem is solved already for not having a social network for animators? Well played.
Maybe even if it got really good Facebook would go to them with copyright claims?
