Hunter's past was shrouded. But, as he recalled through his frequent nightmares, the bounty hunter was born nearly seven centuries back. All he could remember was that at one point in his childhood, he found himself barely conscious in a dense forestation with a sword in his grip.

The boy was found by several foreign soldiers who adopted him in their ranks. He'd shown remarkable swordsmanship when encountering dangers such as enemy troops and hostile animals. When the soldiers were ambushed by the enemy, all were killed by the bombs except for the boy, who was merely wounded. He took his sword and continued to venture further into the forest.

After days of walking, he reached a rural village which welcomed him warmly. Living under a different name, Hunter participated in an ambitious conflict when he was seventeen. The village he'd stayed in was completely destroyed, leaving him once again alone.

Since then, Hunter began travelling around the world continuously, changing his name as he goes. Whenever there was a war, he'd participate no matter whose side he was on. Even during World War II, Hunter had been in several opposing armies. During the Cold War, however, he began work as a hitman, started killing off presidents and political figures and always got away.

By the 70s, Hunter stopped moving around the globe and began life as Daniel Newman, a bounty hunter. He had slaughtered numerous gladiators and criminals and even high-profiled figures. Sick of waiting for targets, he instead joined the RHG system, just so he could come to them.
