Hey guys.

Lately we've been seeing a lot of threads saying,

Hello. I was wondering, should I use the line tool or the brush tool?

Or...

Hey. Can you help me become better at Flash? Thanks.

Though presented respectfully, these threads are utterly pointless. Here's why.

Flash (and all animation) is a big thing. You can't simply 'learn' it. You can improve yourself through a thing called EXPERIMENTATION. This is where you simply play around with things, from a walk cycle to a tool you've never used. Just click it, draw it, whatever. This will help you learn a lot better than having Spazzy-Z teach you how vague your question was. :D

So, instead of posting inquiries about how to do a certain thing, try it out first. Make that backflip. Use that line tool. This is how you will develop your own personal style, become unique, and rise to stardom.

Good luck. :D

EDIT: Why did no one tell me about that verb tense error in the last sentence.

I mean seriously this has been up for almost a year.

Lol. I love how you used me as an example.

Thanks, Tomo. Hopefully, this narrows down the amount of "How do I do this" or "Should I use that" threads in the General Help section.

By the way, when did you become a full mod?

No, he used to just be a mod in the show off section, but now, since benja is gone i think, he became a full mod.

Hopefully, this will reduce the amount of those annoying threads. But then again there are always idiots who don't read something that says "READ"

It doesn't matter how many stickies you make because the newbs will never read them, and they will continue asking the same questions, unless a manditory pop up is read through by the newb.

Eh. Whatever.

It's worked so far.

You just drew stickmen? Download Pivot or Easytoon if you want the free programs. If you're willing to buy, get Flash.

Google all 3 of those programs for download links.
